Implant Treatment

What is a Dental Implant?

They are artificial roots placed in the bone to restore the function and aesthetics of the missing area. It is produced from titanium with different surface properties in special environments. The teeth made on the implant replace the real teeth and provide function and aesthetics.
The most preferred FDA-approved implants in the world, such as Astra (Germany), Medentika (Germany), Straumann (Switzerland), Megagen ANYRIDGE (South Korea), and Nucleoss (Turkey), are applied by our Specialist Dentists (Implantation Specialists).

Why Implant?

Implant treatment is a healthy, robust, and reliable application. It is an alternative to the bridge in cases where there are only one or a few deficiencies.
It is healthy and long-lasting because operations such as cutting and reduction are not performed on neighboring teeth.
It is an alternative to removable dentures in cases of complete and partial toothlessness. Unlike removable prostheses, it is more comfortable, long-lasting, and hygienic as it is a fixed application.

It is an alternative to removable (attachable) dentures in cases of complete or partial edentulism. Unlike removable prostheses, it is more comfortable, long-lasting and hygienic as it is a fixed application.

How Long is the Life of Implant Treatment?

The success of the implant depends on many factors. In combination with a successful implant and a patient who takes care of oral hygiene, it can stay in the mouth for many years (20-30 years) with ordinary follow-ups.

Are My Jawbones Suitable for Implantation?

Implant screws are structures that have a specific thickness and width. For this reason, the jawbone in the area where the implant is to be placed must have the height and width to accept this implant screw. The quality of the existing bone is one of the factors affecting the success of the implant. In addition, before the treatment and as long as the implant remains in the mouth, the gums must be completely healthy. As long as the general health of the patient is good, there is no upper age limit to prevent implant application. Implants can be applied to anyone with good general health. However, it may not be preferred to apply to very young patients whose bone development has not been completed. In patients with insufficient bone thickness and size, the amount of bone is increased (bone augmentation, graft, bone powder) and implant application is performed after waiting for a certain period. Clinical examination with panoramic x-ray or dental tomography is required for more detailed information.

Can My Prostheses Be Fitted Immediately After Implants are Placed?

2-3 months should pass to ensure the complete integration of the implants with the bone (Osteointegration). In this process, if appropriate, a temporary crowning will be applied to the implant. After the fusion of the implant with the bone is completed, the teeth that you will use permanently will be made.
